Coronavirus cases have dipped across India overnight according to the Ministry of Health Affairs. According to a study by scientists, India has been one of the worst affected nations ever since the onset of the pandemic. Meanwhile a number of new strains of the virus have increased panic among the population as the rate of infections has risen again.
According to the data provided by the government, as many as 29,616 people across the nation contracted the coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. As a result, the total number of cases as of the 25th of September, Saturday, has increased to 3,36,24,419. In a single day, 290 patients have lost their lives, taking the death toll to 4,46,658.
Meanwhile, the number of daily recoveries has again dipped as compared to the number of single day cases. In the past 24 hours, 28,046 patients recuperated from the coronavirus infection. As a result the total number of recoveries recorded till date has risen to 3,28,76,319. As of Saturday, 84,89,29,160 people have been vaccinated. It needs to be mentioned that as many as 71,04,051 people have been vaccinated in the past 24 hours.
