In a latest, the Indian Army has achieved major success as it successfully eliminated three terrorists in the Rampur Sector of Uri, near the Line of Control (L.O.C.). It has been learned that the three terrorists had crossed over from Pakistan occupied Kashmir into the Indian side.
Lieutenant General, D.P. Pandey, General Officer Commanding of Srinagar’s Chinar Corps said in a statement to the media, “A movement was observed in Hathlanga forest early this (Thursday) morning. The attempt was eliminated, with neutralization of three terrorists.” In his statement, he further added that similar attempts by terrorists had been made of the 18th of September. “While there was no infiltration since the beginning of the year, there has been a little activity at the launch pads which cannot happen without the knowledge of Pakistan army commanders,” he said.
It needs to be mentioned that as many as 5 AK-47s, 8 pistols & 70 hand grenades were recovered from the killed terrorists.
